Description

It doesn’t take an interpreter to understand why the Statue of Liberty is referred to as “The Mother of Exiles.” Native Iraqi and Afghani interpreters, who risked their lives to assist the U.S. Military’s war effort, are now hoping we honor the code of Lady Liberty by asking for asylum in our country. This real-life thriller follows three men and their families trying to escape their native countries where they are considered traitors, bringing the human stories of these unsung heroes to the screen.
